WHITE SAUCE VEGGIE TOAST

INGREDIENTS
2 tbsp whole wheat flour
11/2 cup milk
1 tsp oregano
1 tsp black pepper
2 tbsp butter
1/4 cup grated cheese
6-7 bread slices
1/4 cup boiled corn
1/4 cup capsicum
1/4 cup bell pepper (optional)
salt and chili to taste

METHOD
Melt butter in pan, saute flour till fragrant. Add milk and mix well, if lumps form either blend with blender or use masher.Add salt, pepper and oregano.

Cook for 2-3 minutes. Add grated cheese.

Let mixture be thick , add all the veggies.

Take bread slices, trim the edges, put this mixture all over, top with other bread slice.

Heat grilled pan, put butter generously, keep slice and press it with spatula for better grill and crunchiness.

Slice and serve.

WHITE SAUCE SHOULD BE THICK OR IT WILL MAKE BREAD SOGGY .

YOU CAN ADD CHEESE SLICE IN CENTRE FOR MORE CHEESY FLAVOUR.

IN CASE YOU ARE PLANNING TO GIVE THIS IN TIFFIN TO KIDS, PREPARE WHITE SAUCE NIGHT BEFORE AND REFRIGERATE. IT WILL EASE YOUR WORK.

7. White sauce is ready. It should be thick.











8. Put on bread slice.

11. Slice and serve!
