PANEER-SUJI SQUARES

INGREDIENTS
1 cup milk
1 cup grated paneer
1/2 cup suji (semolina)
1 chopped onion
salt and black pepper to taste
1 cup all purpose flour or cornflour
1/4 cup water
1 cup breadcrumbs
oil for deep frying


 

METHOD
In heavy bottomed pan, add milk, paneer, onion, salt, pepper and suji. Cook on high flame stirring occasionally till all the ingredients combine together and become like a thick dough.

Grease plate with oil and spread this dough evenly all over, keep aside and let it come down to room temperature.


Make medium consistency batter with cornflour and water.

Cut the batter in squares. Take one square at a time, dip in cornflour batter. Coat well in breadcrumbs. Deep fry.

Serve with tomato sauce.
