Burfi made with bread sounds weird but trust me it tastes too good. Best part is no one can make out with both taste and texture that it's made of bread.
I added mawa/khoya to give it authentic burfi taste, you can omit it if it's not available, I used instant homemade mawa which took me just 5 minutes to prepare.
All Indian festivals are important to us and Rakhi is one of the special festival between brothers and sisters. If you are looking for something different but quick and yummy sweet than this one is just perfect.
Do try Bread burfi this Rakhi I am sure your brother will fall in love with you!
